(2) Practice in turf

This beer yeast agricultural materials can promote plant growth and it is also used in golf courses, parks and schoolyards.
We will conduct more field tests and analyze the results and continue to propose sustainable cultivation systems. And also we try to contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
1) Improving the quality of turf in stadiums, growing turf that is friendly to players and environment
Since 2019, Hanshin Koshien Stadium in Hyogo Prefecture has started to use this agricultural materials for turf management.
By using "beer yeast agricultural materials”, the turf quality is evenly better in all area and which make it irregular bound happen less and players even receive the merit of reducing body strain by increased cushion of improved turf.
In addition, staffs at the stadium said that the roots and the grass grew better than before, the color of grass is greener. Especially during the high school baseball game season in August, when there are multiple games in one day for about two weeks, they appreciate a quick recovery of the grass from heavy damage by using this material."

2) Maintaining good green conditions and reducing environmental impact by golf course management
It contributes to reduce the amount of fungicide and chemical fertilizer at golf courses. It promotes root growth and enhances the soil for maintaining good green condition. And this raw material can lead to soil reduction and solubilize nutrients in soil for more nutrient uptake.
Based on these knowledge and practices, we calculated greenhouse gas emissions using life cycle assessment from new golf course management with ”beer yeast agricultural materials” compared with conventional golf course management and we observed 22.3% reduction of greenhouse gas emissions at the Narita Golf Club of Accordia Golf Co., Ltd.
More than one-third of golf courses in Japan have used our ”beer yeast agricultural materials”.
