Supports pig heath by forming intestinal flora with a preponderance of helpful bacteria
The most important condition for raising healthy pigs is the health of the pigs’ intestinal flora
(intestinal flora with a preponderance of helpful bacteria).
Administering FINELACT® for pigs with a selection of Lactobacillus bifidus and lactic acid
bacteria, which acts as healthy intestinal bacteria, colonizes and propagates helpful bacteria in
the pigs’ intestines and this helps maintain the health of the pigs.
Good intestinal flora leads to delicious meat production
In the pig breeding environment in recent years, Lactobacillus bifidus, the most important
bacteria in pigs, has had more difficulty colonizing, and lactic acid bacteria appears to be
considerably weaker. Weaning tends to induce a state of low levels of helpful bacteria in piglet
intestines, and this is thought to have a negative impact on subsequent growth. In addition, when
the sow has a preponderance of helpful bacteria, it not only helps maintain a healthy intestinal
environment, but also colonize helpful bacteria in the newborn pigs, and in this way supports the
formation of healthy intestinal flora.
When healthy intestinal flora with a preponderance of helpful bacteria is formed, it can support
stable intestinal health. In order to create such an intestinal flora environment, FINELACT® for pigs
can be used to increase helpful bacteria, which helps pigs grow healthily and can be expected to
increase weight and growth rates and also to produce delicious meat.

Administration example
-
When administered with drinking water using a proportional flow mixer
Amount of drinking water
Calculate the amount of drinking water per pig and set the amount of water drunk within 2-3
hours on the mixer.
*This differs with the age of the pig and type of mixer, so please confirm with us in
advance.
Example when administering within 2-3 hours to 100 piglets immediately after weaning
- Set proportional flow mixer to 2% addition
- Overall drinking water amount→100 pigs x 50 ml (provisional) = 5.0 l
- Solution volume 5.0 l x 0.02 (2%) = 100 ml
- Amount of FINELACT® for pigs → 2 sacks / 100 pigs
For 5.0 liters of water, add two
sacks (40 grams) of FINELACT® for pigs to 100 ml of water and set the mixer.
- When administrating orally
Dissolve 1 sack (20 g) of FINELACT® for pigs in 50 ml of water and
administer 1 ml per meat pig.
- When administering to breeding pigs by top dressing
Administer by dressing the feed with 2-3
grams per pig at feeding time.
Cautions for administration
- Avoid mixing with another product.
- Take from freezer and return to room temperature around 30-60 minutes before using.
- For the water, room temperature water (10-25℃) can used if the chlorine concentration is at the
level of tap water (around 2 ppm).
- The mixing container should be adequately cleaned in advance to avoid any impact from residue.
- When mixing, sprinkle in FINELACT® for pigs a little at a time while stirring adequately with a
whisk, etc.
- Use promptly after opening. Use the entire contents of the sack.
(Administering more than the recommended amount is fine.)
